This allocation of $10,000 provided partial funding for a Cape Cod-wide day-long intensive housing summit comprised of six or more sessions. Following the summit will be peer group meetings and at least one in-depth training session. Attendees are recruited from Upper Cape municipal officials and employees as well as municipal employees and officials across the Cape and Islands and interested community leaders. The organizers of the institute make every effort to be responsive to the feedback from attendees in order to address and focus on aspects of the need for community and workforce housing most beneficial to Cape Cod communities.
