In cooperation with the Falmouth Water Department, Falmouth Water Stewards, Inc. received CPA funding to purchase, install, and maintain ADA-compliant public water bottle refill stations at one indoor and seven outdoor recreation-related facilities throughout Falmouth. The water stations promote the use of refillable water bottles during active and passive recreation and reduce generation of plastic waste, litter, and marine pollution.
Phase 2 water stations will be installed at 8 Falmouth beaches.
